So please forgive a proud father if I brag about my son just a bit:
In the last week he represented all UCSD students in speaking before the UC Chancellor and
Regents, prompting one regent to offer him a gig in his major law firm and the Chancellor to predict
Mac would be chancellor in 10 years, saw his push to create a Public Health Major at UCSD succeed,
got the university to agree to the first ever standing desks on campus, AND, to cap it all, was
called by Teach For America and told they were skipping the phone interview, which is what
applicants who pass the first phase of the process do, and bumping him right to a final interview
for a position. Oh yeah, and he also found the time to bowl a turkey during his visit up here and
rock a pretty cool Bill Compton from True Blood costume for all Hallowed Eve. Congrats, Mac! You
put the super in achiever and have fun doing it...
